About Us

TerBest Alpaca and Fiber Farm
was established in 2014
The TerBest story starts with our 71 alpacas and the fiber that these wonderful alpacas produce for us each year. We harvest approximately 500 pounds of 100% natural fiber a year from our own healthy animals here in Priest River, Idaho. We teach and support 4-H kids in both Alpaca as livestock and Handworks from our Heritage. Our farm enjoys watching and teaching visitors about alpacas and the special bond they bring to each and every one that visit.

The folks who own the farm and care for the animals are so kind and welcoming, not to mention how adorable and friendly the alpacas are. It's clear from the farm infrastructure, the health of the animals, and the quality of their fiber and beautiful hand knit products that love is engrained in every single thing that they do. I can't say this earnestly enough; Visit this farm and love on these alpacas!Posted on Brook KruseTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Brought my young grandson for a visit and had the best time getting up close and personal with the alpacas. His favorite was Tucker the donkey.Posted on Brent TaylorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Delightful! In one word, delightful. Jerilin and David are so laid back, welcoming, and friendly. We came to see Alpacas but we will come back next time just to see them. In just a short time, I felt we made two new friends (well, 74 if you count them plus the alpacas) Thanks for a delightful afternoon. Brent and Judy from northern Utah.Posted on Chris PletcherTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I enjoyed visiting this farm very much. The owners took the time to walk me through all their livestock and farm (safely for COVID), and I enjoyed interacting with them and the animals. They explained to me the various programs that they participate in, and it seems they give back quite a bit to the community and younger generation. I enjoyed feeding the alpacas and meeting all the critters. Their alpaca wool products store was very diverse as well, more so than others I've visited. Thanks for letting me visit your place.Posted on David LewisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent place to go for a visit and worth the trip. The owners David and Jerilynn are excellent hosts. The whole tour took about 30-40 mins. We were escorted by David around the farm. He guided us through various pastures where we were able to pet and feed the animals. Unfortunately we were not able to play with the baby Alpacas, due to covid restrictions. But hopefully next year we can get to pet the little ones. Did I mention that the tour was free. The owners were also very informative and excited to teach and tell others about alpaca farming and the work they do. They also have a small shop that carries various alpaca fiber (the fur)garments. Some are imported (fair trade of course) and they also make some garments from their own stock. Awesome experience and we were delighted to get to spend some time with them. Did I mention the tour, petting and feeding the alpacas was free (even the food). Definitely make sure you make this a stop on your list when visiting the area.Posted on Bonnie LundgrenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Awesome couple hosted a visit from us. So informational, friendly and considerate. The alpacas are lovely friendly creatures. We even got to see babies barely a day old! My three- and four-year-old were delighted. The little shop has beautiful (if somewhat pricey) merchandise. We just had to bring a few things home. Thanks again!!Posted on Steve OttmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great tour. We learned a lit about alpacas. Nice little store too.Posted on Anne QuiringTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The owners are super friendly and kind people who are more than happy to show you the farm and explain all of the operations that are taking place. The gift shop has a nice variety of items that are of excellent quality, many of which are handmade. The fiber is beautiful and and lovely to work with (I crochet). Jerilin and her weavers are top notch!Posted on Mark PorholaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had the best time! Owners took us on an educational tour. Very nice owners and facility. A must do when you are in this area. We bought an Alpaca throw which feels so much softer than the one we got from a well known brand.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
